Oral Day 4

Picture Discussion
This picture shows a disabled man being pushed up onto a bus, with the bus driver lending a helping hand. Some of the people surrounding the disabled man are wearing the same t-shirts and tags hung around their necks. They are probably from a certain organisation and the t-shirts and tags are for better identification. Another lady behind is also in a wheelchair, waiting to be pushed up onto the bus. This might be an activity organised for the disabled so that they will not feel bored or lonely. I think the abled people feel sorry for the unfortuante as they look troubled and worried. However, the disabled lady does not think the same way. Although disabled, she is still happy and wants to live her life to the fullest happily. I think that is the right attitude towards life. The bus should set off for their fun-filled day of activities after everyone hops onto the bus.

Conversation
2. I feel that protecting natural habitats and looking after wildlife is very important. It isn't a choice, much of a neccessity. Wildlife are also living things. If we as human beings can have a comfortable house to live in, why can't wildlife be given the same rights? I feel that we are destroying nature to very large extent, and it's becoming more prominent through deforestation and such. The houses we live in doesn't get destroyed, why should their habitats get destroyed? Living them with no home to live in, and eventually their species get extinct. It isn't fair to them. With urbanization, more cities are being developed, destroying nature at the same time. Developing new cities and keeping up with the times is important, conserving nature is a also important. We shouldn't sacrifice one for the other. If a piece of land i needed to be taken away to develop new cities, i feel that another piece of land should be created somewhere esle so that wildlife will continue to have a place to live, and their species would not get extinct at the same time.
